Full kitchen with dishwasher and breakfast bar and separate dining area with table is provided. The kitchen/living area is “L” shaped and has a TV and two leather couches complimented by wood floors, radiant heat, and windows 3/4 the way around. The bedroom has a queen bed, walk in closet, computer desk and TV with CD player. A day bed is available if needed. There is one bathroom, with a shower only. Stacked washer and dryer provided. There is a front deck with Adirondack chairs and gardens. Access the apartment via Captain's Way or Water St. via a staircase. Rent includes all utilities plus wireless internet access, cable TV and linens. You are within a very short walking distance to downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Rent is $950 per week for June, $1200 per week in July & August. Includes stand-by emergency generator. Winter leases available.

It is only a scenic walk to the village center, Maine Maritime Academy, the Castine Golf Club, Yacht Club, waterfront, museum, library, and historical forts. Features include antique furnishings, dining area, a private entrance and 3/4 bath (shower). There is a sitting area with a grill in the yard near our flower and vegetable gardens. Kitchenette includes microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, pans, utensils, linens and all the basic comforts of home. Wireless internet is provided. No smoking. We are a "Pet Friendly" home with a Golden Retriever on the grounds and will consider your friendly pet for a small additional fee. Two night minimum stay for $225 and $85 for each additional night.
